CAUTION: Don't bite em: snakes hate fruit and get massive indigestion from it. HINT: Try to keep the mouse pointer a few steps ahead of the snake's head, this will give it a smoother ride... The game has 7 levels. You can pause and resume by clicking the mouse button anywhere on the background. Play often and don't forget to post your score! -- LeBurt
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/LeBurt/36470_sm.png SpiderTack http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/LeBurt/32187 This is my game #2, still working on a few bugs and trying to improve sounds. *** INSTRUCTIONS *** 1. You can move the ship with the arrow keys (the ship does NOT go backwards). 2. Fire with the spacebar 3. Touching the spiders or their webs will destroy your ship KEEP CLEAR! 4. Level goes up after so many spiders are destroyed 5. Get a bonus ship every 10000 points
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/LeBurt/32187_sm.png build the titanica v2.0 http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/JoelP/32422 This is the original version of 'build the titanica' I will be working on a sequel right now. In this game your job is to build the biggest and most luxurious ship in the world. You start off with 1000 bucks, but you can't build the best ship in the world with that! So you must gamble some money, YES-GAMBLE. In the sequel there will be more buidlings and when you have made the ship, judges will comment on your ship. That is in the sequel, but meanwhile, enjoy the original game while it lasts! I have fixed the restaurant glitch, now you can build a restaurant (with affect), and I have also added the judges, who comment about your ship, as you can see on the picture of my project. I have also fixed the judge glitch. Unfortunately, I had to remove the money betted, becasue it did not do anything. I have also fixed the quick money out glitch that plumberry suggested I fix. V2 is now out! enjoy it! there are two new buidlings. Neptune, I unfortunately buidling position glitch, but i will try.
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/JoelP/32422_sm.png Live Free or Press the Button http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/S65/25797 The latest installment in the Press the Button series is here, and this one is revolutionary! Instead of just pressing a button, there is a plot! Terrorists have planted nukes in major cities around the country, and the only way to stop the nukes is to press the right button on a deactivator you stole from their warehouse. If you press the wrong button, all of the nukes explode! There are 3 buttons, and the right one is randomized each time you play so the same excitement will happen each time! Have fun pressing buttons!
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/S65/25797_sm.png The Sword of life. http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/JoelP/25701 This game is finally out! It was a peaceful day in the village of Yuu, suddenly, te dragon and his army of monsters invade the town. Fight through each level until, if you succeed, fight the last formidable final foe, this game has less of a storyline than my actual story, or else it will simply be too big. +++WARNING+++ This game was not designed for bad sports, as you progress, levels get insanely hard, and for the avoidance of damage bills, do not throw tantrums. QUICK NOTE if anyone beats the last level, tell me. If there is something wrong, just press the green flag again.
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/JoelP/25701_sm.png WinScratch Version 1.0 http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/S65/25203 If you love this, don't forget to click the LoveIt button! This is a basic clone of Windows in Scratch. I call it WinScratch. So far it features three programs; Notepad, Pong, and Media Player. It can also shut down.
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/S65/25203_sm.png Thief FINAL VERSION http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/S65/22081 UPDATE: Fixed another Mission 5 glitch. If you like this game, don't forget to click the LoveIt button. This is the full version of my new game, Thief. In this game, you steal stuff while avoiding the patrolmen and security cameras. This game includes five missions. I've worked very hard on this. You use the arrow keys to move. Please comment on this.
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/S65/22081_sm.png Super Mario Bros. Scratched VERSION 2.0 http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/S65/20502 UPDATE: Fixed a glitch that made Goombas not go away when they die. Okay, a few changes in this new version. First, I've added lava to the castles. Second, Bowser can now shoot fire, making him harder to beat. This is my Mario game developed in Scratch. It's the best Mario game I've seen so far in Scratch, and uses an area system to overcome the one-screen limitations of Scratch. This also allows me to reuse sprites over and over again. In this game, you go through a series of screens to get to Bowser and defeat him. There are 8 screens, making it a fairly long game (for Scratch). You can jump on Goombas to kill them, but if you get hit from the sides you die. You can't kill Piranha Plants, and there's only one special way to kill Bowser (people who played the original SMB1 should know it).
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/S65/20502_sm.png Press the Button http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/S65/19728 Press the button and get ready for the great surprise!
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/S65/19728_sm.png Duck Hunt http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/S65/23258 If you love it, don't forget to click the LoveIt button! =P This is a remake of the classic video game Duck Hunt for the NES. Move the crosshair using the mouse and click it. You have to shoot the ducks, but if you miss 3 times the duck will run away. As the game goes on, the ducks get faster and more unpredictable. To advance to the next round, you must shoot at least 6 ducks. The main problem with making this program was the layer issues. I've gotten the layers to be the right way most of the time, but occasionally the duck indicator sprites get buried behind the SHOT sprite and (very rarely) the dog appears in front of the grass instead of behind. This program is my most complicated one yet, with a total of 136 scripts. This is because I abuse the broadcast system. NOTE: The Game Over is glitchy online for some reason, but not offline. Oh well. It doesn't matter if you just stop the program when the Game Over animation pops up.
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/S65/23258_sm.png Dogfight 3D http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/S65/22439 If you love it, don't forget to click the LoveIt button! UPDATE: Okay, all the dozen or so bugs online are fixed, it works perfectly online now. Really. This is a psuedo-3D rail shooter in which you fight your way through enemy forces in your fighter plane. When you get deep enough into enemy territory, the leader of the enemy forces will confront you in his ship, which is much more powerful than a normal ship. You must defeat him! I think this is my best game yet.
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/S65/22439_sm.png Block Buster http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/bigB/23423 This was made just to see if I could manage it but it turned out to be one of the hardest projects I have done. Click on one of the coloured blocks at the side for it to slide along. (it will only slide if there is one in its row) Try to get groups of 3 or more of a colour next to each other. If you are stuck use space to shuffle (it will cost 10 points) It can take some time to see if any need removing so please wait until it says ready.
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/bigB/23423_sm.png City http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/JoelP/23062 This is the coolest game i've made! I've gotten the hang of building buildings. you dont need an unlimited amount of sprites. Just 81 scripts. Any questions will be answered in comments. PLEASE COMMENT ON THIS GAME IF YOU HAVE ONE! In the last sequel you get to see how the citizens in your city are living, and then the advisors oppinion about your city, and the added score of 'food'. In this sequel, there is no more gameplay improvemant I can think about, so just making the game more valauble and fun. You have a new score, crime, wich you must keep low, and a new decoration, the garden. You can also rotate buildings, wich you coudn't have done in the others.
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/JoelP/23062_sm.png Naval Warfare http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/bigB/21945 i made this more as an experiment than as a complete game just to see if i could create a splitscreen scrolling background system. It is a 2 player game where you both control a ship. controls player1 w,a,d to move, 1 to shoot. player2 arrow keys to move, L to shoot. the arrows aound your screen point towards the other ship incase you get lost. have fun.
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/bigB/21945_sm.png Virtual Golf http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/bigB/20317 This is an almost finished version of my 2D Golf game. 1) Click the green Flag 2) Select Club with the buttons at the top or keys 1-3. You current club is highlighted in red. 3) Hold down space to increase power and the release to drive. I would call this hole a par4 however until you have learnt how much to hit it it is difficult. (It is possible to pot the ball in just 2 shots.) I hope you enjoy it. Ive have also added a 'distance to hole' indicator. Assume that the starting club can hit about 250yards.
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/bigB/20317_sm.png
