The duck plays a pretty good game but can be beaten. Green Flag starts a new game series. Click once with the mouse on a ship to select it (it will turn white), click again to place it. While selected, the spacebar changes the ship orientation. The Ships: Aircraft Carrier - Green 5 holes Battleship - Gold 4 holes Cruiser - Blue 3 holes Submarine - Violet 3 holes Destroyer - Grey 2 holes This version allows one shot per ship you have left in each turn. Difficulty Levels: Easy - You always start first and you get an extra shot Medium - You always start first Hard - Random who starts first For the curious, the little yellow square in the lower-left corner is the mini-grid that the computer uses to keep track of where the ducks ships are hiding. Have fun!
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Paddle2See/69459_sm.png Maze maker http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Jasper/29772 A simple game. Use a arrow keys to move around and get to the next level by touching the red circle. I made this game in a different software that wasn't really meant for playing games. I thought it would look much nicer in scratch.
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Jasper/29772_sm.png Follow the path http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Jasper/38413 If you don't win on your first try, don't get frusterated. Experiment with right angles and curves. Try to see what went wrong last time.
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Jasper/38413_sm.png Dragroll Stickman http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/beebe/62297 Watch out for the arrows!!! Post your score here! HAVE FUN ^_^
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/beebe/62297_sm.png Super Mario Adventure http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Oldschooler2/72836 A tweaked version of Nintendo's Super Mario Bros. My own level...filled with platforms few and far between and enemies. Now you can move backwards! This is slow so download it. IT is slow because I use somany sprites and that creates lag like crazy. If you love it, don't forget to click the loveit button! :) Game Information: Original Demos by kingoflego and funkymonkey Moves: Right Arrow: Move forward Left arrow: Move backward Down Arrow: If touching a pipe, go down Space: Jump Collect coins at the beginning and kill the Goomba to get points. Jump under the floating Brick near the beginning to get the super Shroom. Avoid jumping into the "golden" Bullet Bills at all costs. There is only one Mushroom, so make it last. You have 3 lives. Jump onto the flagpole to finish the game (when it appears, of course). Your final score is determined by how much time you have left. Post your high score when finished. I input a "checkpoint" so when you die past it you go back to the check point. Probably the most complex Mario game on Scratch (except probably next to archmage's), be Mario in this Side Scrolling adventure! Much of these sprites are from Super Mario Bros. The rest are 8-bit versions of the New Super Mario Bros. By the by, at the point that the platforms stop Scrolling, just tap the right arrow key and you'll be fine. PS: This is slow, so download it and see it in presentation mode. Note: This is difficult but not impossible. This is probably (no, is) my best game yet. Sprites are from spriters-resource.com and S65. Oldschooler2 Productions A Flaming Trout Inc. Production.
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Oldschooler2/72836_sm.png Super Sprint http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/uncleclives/73988 Based on the 1986 arcade game - to play use the left and right cursor keys to steer the car. Press the up cursor key to accelerate and release to deaccelerate. Can you beat all the AI cars and win the race after 5 laps ?
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/uncleclives/73988_sm.png Directions Game http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Mayhem/7126 This started as a very simple game for use in teaching directions to Year 2 children (6-7 years) - they have a copy of the map and have to write a list of directions, then are allowed to come up to the front of the class where the game is on the interactive whiteboard to see if their directions are accurate. Originally, all the obstacles were just drawn on the map. Now the rocks and monster are sprites, so they can be moved. The scripting has gradually become more complex: -Added scripts to ensure the ship couldn't leave the map. -Added scripts to all sprites to center them to the grid - at game start, and also by clicking on them. -Added an end-game script that hides the directional buttons after a collision/success and displays the new game button.
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/Mayhem/7126_sm.png Scrolling Done Right http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/archmage/76150 I made this project for lyssa295 who personally asked me to make this. I used the beta version of scratch for the comments used in this project. The comment block was taken out in the newest version of scratch.
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/archmage/76150_sm.png Merry Smashmas http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/archmage/72212 This game took me about 4 days so you better enjoy it! Controls are explained in game via the how to play button. This game features both a human vs mode and a CPU vs mode for when you don't have anyone around to play with you. This game plays great in presentation mode.
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/archmage/72212_sm.png Mario Recharged http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/archmage/45066 Unsatified with the quality of mario games on this site I decided to make my own. This game has the most advanced game engine of any mario game on the site allowing for the optimal mario experince! Please leave a comment when you are done to tell me what you think. (I read every comment I get) This has been optimized to reduce lag
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/archmage/45066_sm.png Draw Your Game! http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/archmage/9397 My Game Drawing program will let you create games with ease! Controls: Mario: up-w down-s fart-spacebar Luigi: up-up arrow down-down arrow fart-left arrow A wacky game it is... have fun with it! UPDATE: Since speeds are slower on the web I made the fireballs faster And if you want to start playing click the 1 player button for 1 player or the 2 players button.archmage
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/archmage/7169_sm.png Archknight's Adventure http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/archknight/80465 My brother and I have been working on this for about 2 weeks now and it's finally done. We tried to make a very high quality scrolling platformer game in scratch and I think it turned out pretty well :) The sprites are from little fighter 2 and various mario games.
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/archknight/80465_sm.png Marble Racer starter http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/ericr/2432 INSTRUCTIONS: Use the arrow keys to race your marble around the track to the finish line. If you slide off onto the grass, it will slow you down. Press space to change tracks. What's your best lap time? HOW IT WORKS: The marble has variables for its x and y velocities. The arrow keys make it accelerate by changing the velocities. The grass slows you down by multiplying the velocities by a fraction. THINGS TO TRY: * Make your own tracks by drawing a new background. Just use the same shade of green for the grass. * Make a new costume for the ball. * Make obstacles (even moving obstacles!) that slow you down or stop you, or ramps that speed you up.
http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/ericr/2432_sm.png
