RollerCoaster Tycoon

RCT2 and RCT3 were the bane of my childhood. Every day, I would run home, start up my computer, and spend hours designing massive rollercoasters and finding creative ways to create massive rollercoaster accidents.

Admit it, crashing all the rollercoasters into that line of asphalt pavement was seriously fun.

In 2018, I asked the Scratch Team to remove all my forum posts to protect my privacy. That's why this post is blank. Besides, I've outgrown this website, and I don't want the dumb things I said in my late tween/early teen years to follow me around for the rest of my life. This post probably wasn't anything interesting or important, anyway.

Alright, so do you think that RCT3 Platinum would run on my laptop? I really want to get it, and I think I have enough money in iTunes cards, but I don't know if it would work.
My specs are:
1.6 GHz Core i5
Intel HD Graphics 3000
2GB RAM
OS X 10.8.3
Don't worry, it definitely will work I used to play it on a probably 1.3-5 Ghz processor with 2GB of RAM, and it probably had Intel HD normal graphics. Your specs will definitely run it without a trouble, also considering that shockingly the game is already 8 years old. However, I am not sure how well my graphics were set, but I have seen the game maxed out, and it really doesn't look too powerful to render. The game's grass textures are pretty plain and low res.

Also, I highly prefer RCT2 over it

I never owned it, but my best freind did.
Every time I would come over to his house (most of the time it was his birthday) I would look forward to playing RCT2.
We always like to put unreasonable prices on things, just to see who would actually use it.
I also fondly remember playing Age of Empires but that's a differn't story

The one thing I don't like about RCT2 is that the guests are scaredy-cats to go on any intense rides.

I'm sure that it's the nostalgia factor, seeing as how it's the first game in the series that I played, but RCT3 Platinum would have to be my favorite. It goes beyond the roller coasters and lets you make zoos and even water parks! I haven't seen these features in the previous games, so it really makes it stand out.

I think that as the series went on, the games became better (with the exception of RCT3D). In other words, RCT1 is my least favorite (great game, though) and RCT3 is my favorite. I'll just cross my fingers for RCT4.

I don't own RollerCoaster Tycoon for the 3DS, so I can't get really say that I like or dislike the game, but I'm staying away from it due to the negative reception.

Me too, actually. Isn't that just RCT3 with both the expansion packs?
That and its the only Rollercoaster Tycoon thats available on Steam.
I have unlimited RCT2 downloads from Amazon, that's where I got it. I also have Corkscrew Follies somewhere lost…

Can I build crazy dangerous roller coasters :3
You can in thrillville: Off the Rails

That game can make roller coasters with nothing connecting the start and finish

Also, I forgot to add restrooms to mine. Somebody vomited on the park's ground
You can charge people in RCT to use the restroom
I loved doing that. Even though I felt like George Bush, and yes this will probably cause a lot of controversy.

I was really young when I played RCT1 and I loved naming all the people who came in to the park. I remember also having the amusement park that was in the sandy place, and there was a massive rollercoaster and people would throw up like crazy, so what I would do is put garbage cans for like the next mile so I could keep my park clean. Even if costed a BUNCH of money.

And the best part about the original games is the music.

Look at this before you go:
define Peep bowling
say [A way of using a roller coaster to kill peeps for no reason]

when green flag clicked
say [Welcome to my Account!] for (infinite) secs

when green flag clicked
set [infinite] to ((1) / (0))

I should play it more often, I rebought the series when gog.com had their sale but I haven't really touched it since.

I remember building huuuuuuge vertical drops and crashing them into 500 guests when I was 5 or so. Protip - if that's your thing, use no entry signs >:)
