They were never designed to be widescreen, so it would look awful

Test how good your computer is at doing math. 3DS and Wii U online after shutdown.

If you want DS games to be Widescreen without stretching, (for 3D polygons at least) you can install a patch to TWiLight Menu++ that adds Widescreen support

I have played Luigi's Picture Poker but my lawyer (aka me and probably other people on this topic) has advised me to say it totally wasnt on an emulator even though I do not own a DS or 3DS and I havent gone to a friend's house that has a DS or 3DS
