What if he came up with it independently? Two different people on nearly opposite sides of the world came up with the idea of a character named “Dennis the Menace” within 24 hours of each other, its something that can happen dont ya know!

Well I assume it wasn't just spontaneous, because the What If book has the text “Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions” on it. The studio and this forum page both mention “scientific answers” and “absurd questions” so thus I think there is a connection.

But if there isn't, then you can disregard everything I've been saying.
