that actually sounds better, maybe it is a robot then when you go into battle it turns into a box with four pads that beep when pressed. Maybe the intrument changes depending on the enemy.

An addition to the fight would be that you and the enemy have a duet and when you miss a note they attack but when you spot on hit the note right when it is perfectly inside the circle it raises the spare by 5% but 1% if it is a boss.

I thought we should do more rhythm based with a box that makes noise, that could be what you could add some suggestions ffor it's upgrades

The player sings via a box with 4 panels that beeps,
It's rhythm-based but the overworld is similar to UT
It is a cyber punk setting
Also what info i need,
Should the player be male or female?

If it's a cyberpunk setting then I'm thinking maybe a neon wireframe model like in punch-out, at least in battle. Maybe not in the overworld.
Also the 4 panels could be the blue, yellow, orange, and green that the first 4 pitch channels have

I like the idea of the color palettes, maybe you start off with the classic Beepbox colors, and the palettes that can be unlocked are the themes of the different Beepbox mods?

I also like the idea of a customizable player, I think the best idea would be to have the main form nonbinary, but you can change things like hair, clothes, etc. to look how you want.

Every enemy should have a unique battle theme, in the beginning alot of the enemies have simpler retro tracks, while later on they get more complicated

I feel ch. 1 is the player while ch. 6 is the boss unless you had other ideas
Also this would be the final boss theme, as i feel all the enemies have a theme, so like if you encounter one enemy, another one won't have the same one, but if you encounter the same enemy as before it has the same track.

maybe not a battle theme as i don't see a way any main channels can become a voice for the enemy or player but it can be the theme of the final location.
