SUPER MARIO SCRATCH
What is it?
Super Mario Scratch is going to be a fully-fledged Mario fangame for Scratch. That means 8 worlds, 8 or so levels per world, and all the rest that comes with the Mario experience.
When will it come out?
Well that's the question of the hour isn't it. I have absolutely no idea, I imagine some time in 2015. However, if making the best game we possibly can means that its a lot later, that's what will happen.

Position: Programmer
How good would you say you are at this postion: Well I may not be the best I'm trying to learn C# right now but i've been on scratch for awhile I would say maybe a 6-7 out of 10
An example of your work in this area: 2 games that I just created recently our currently in progress but here are the links for them http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/26608351/ this is for the StickMan Shootout a shooting game I plan on advancing for the future (Sorry not good at drawing the sprites) 2nd http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/26383699/ this is zero gravity cat it's a game where you can change the gravity have velocity acceleration and decacceleration it's a pretty complicated script but in the end it makes sense.
How often are you on scratch?: Maybe 1-3 hours a day so i'd say about a 7.

Heh. Sounds interesting.
Have you got a platformer engine in mind? It'd need to be perfect for a long game.
Also shouldn't there be artists/graphics? Making or even gathering them is going take a while.

You're In! And in answer to your question, when most/all of the Programmer slots are filled, then we will have a poll on whether to use an engine or just make our own.

I am interested in joining this collaboration. I have hope that this collaboration will hold stable long enough to finish the game.
What position are you applying for?: Programmer / Possibly level designer if I'm needed
How good would you say you are at this position? (1-10): 10. I know how to use atomic block methods, how to make cloud lists, trigonometric functions, etc.
An example of your work in this area: One Two Three (Just some random projects I found on my profile)
How often are you on Scratch? (1-10): 5, but probably a lot more if I am being a contribution in this studio.
EDIT: I just realized how old this thread is…

I'm pretty sure this collab is dead, the owner has been gone from scratch for 1 and a half years.
