Programming Weekly
Due to name change the banners need replacing. If you can make them for us, please contact a Co-leader.
Hello, and welcome to Programming Every-So-Often! For those who know us a PW, we will now be called PESO. This is a newspaper for reporting on not only Scratch news, but news in technological breakthroughs, achievements and all sorts of things along those lines! After months of inactivity due to the leaving and inactivity of scratchers, Lapidus and QuillzToxic finally decided to try again. If everyone puts in effort, we can become as successful as ScratchPress and Scratchin' Weekly (SW was run by most of the old PW team)

Woot, first post! Also, is it just me or does the first post look a little messy? Maybe I'm just used to neatly-organised quotes. . .

Here is my eBay article :
A recent security breach at eBay(One of the biggest hacks in the world)
The E-Commerce site confirmed Wednesday(21) that it is corporate network was hacked and a database with users' passwords was comromised.
While eBay says there is no evidence that users' financial infromation was acccessed in the hack, the company is telling all users to change their password.
eBay contacted CNET after this story was initially published, saying it discovered “recently” that it was a victim of “a cyber attack on our corporate information network, which compromised a database containing eBay user passwords.
”The company's spokesperson told CNET there is “no evidence that any financial information was accessed or compromised.”
How to change your eBay password:
Step 1:
Sing in to your eBay account home page
Step 2:
After you have logged in, hover over the down arrow at the top og the page next to your name.
dropdown meny displays a few option, including one for Account Settings.
Click the Account Settings option.
Step 3:
Your account page appears.
On the left side, under my eBay Views, click the link for Personal Information.
Step 4:
At the Personal Information page, a section called Account Information appears at the top with a setting for password.
Click the Edit link to the far right of the Password.
Step 5:
eBay prompts to enter your email adress or user ID.
Type either on and then click Continue.
Step 6:
eBay asks you how you want to reset your password, either through email or a text message.
Click the option you wish to use.
Step 7
Assuming you selected the email option, eBay sends you a Reset Your Password message.
Click the link in the email.
That link brings you to a page where you can enter your new eBay password.
If you picked the text option instead, eBay displays a form to enter a PIN and texts you that PIN.
Type the PIN in the appropriate field on that form, and the page to enter your new password appears.
Step 8:
As always, try to devise a password that's as strong as possible yet one you'll remember.
I know, that's not easy.
As one idea, a good password manager can make the process of creating, stroring, and using your passwords a lot more palatable.
Step 9:
Enter you new eBay password once and then again to confirm it.
eBay then prompts you to log in again with your new password.
END!
I hope you like it
