Starbound is a 2D procedurally generated game where you explore a universe full of star systems and planets.
Starbound is developed and published by Chucklefish.

It is an amazing game with tons to do, before, during and after the story. The building and mining mechanics and well thought out and easy to use. The games progression system feels natural.

The game doesn't tell you what to do and how to do it for the most part, the main quests will tell you where to go and what you should do there, but everything else is free exploration.

The game has 7 playable races: Human, Avian, Floran, Apex, Hylotl, Glitch and Novakid.

Starbound also has amazing mod support, from mods that make everyone killable to mods that completely change the story.
