when Scratch 2.1 is out can the scratch team or @Lightnin make a new block that can make you go to websites? cause if you do i will give you lots of pork chop for dinner (pig-harming gif removed by moderator - please keep it appropriate for all ages) lol

I'm not sure if having an unrestricted “link” block is going to work out - there's a lot of places on the web that aren't really for kids and the potential for abuse would be pretty high. But I could see where a block that linked to another Scratch project or Studio could be quite useful.

How about a block that displays a window with a link and the player gives you a warning if the block is in the project.

One way to do this it to put the link in a list and ask the user to copy it
add [http://scratch.mit.edu/] to [go here v]
show list [go here v]
say [copy the link and paste it in your browser]

If you made it only go to scratch projects (mabye only your own ones) it would be awesome

An internal link block could be useful, but I don't know how it could be implemented well. A dialog could work, but it doesn't seem like the best way to add it due to changing the focus. Maybe put something similar at the bottom of the project, like an ask? I don't know.

I support only if the website block only goes to websites in the scratch website.

It could go to projects, users, or studios, and it can leave the page (confirmation required), open a new tab, or a new window.
