This topic does not belong in the New Scratchers forum. If you want to advertise a project, advertise it in the Show and Tell forum.

As you can see here, this sample topic apparently was in the wrong spot. So, I have a suggestion:

There should be a button that says : “Topic not in the Right Place?” This button, when clicked could then ask something like this:

Are you sure that this topic is in the wrong forum? If you are sure, click yes. If not, click cancel.

[yes] [no]

If the scratcher clicks “yes”, then it could send a message to the Scratch Team, notifying them that a topic is in the wrong spot and needs to be moved. That way, there won't be delays in reporting something in the wrong spot, it will notify the Scratch Team about the topic without the need to type in a reason.

Is it really too much work to type “wrong forum”? After all, new features need to be programmed, and extensively tested, and it's just a lot of work for something that can be solved that simply.

What about a button that just automatically filled in the sentence “wrong forum”?

I have done web scripting, and it would not be very hard to implement.
Maybe a few lines of code, like a button with the onclick hooked up to getting the textbox and setting the value

I find it humorous that one day we want a more flexible reporting system then the next day we want a simpler and quicker one.

Anyways, let's just leave the reporting system as is.
