I really like “Party In The CIA.” I think it was really clever.

That's more satire. Argh, what am I saying? I know nothing about satire.Meow Machine is basically a parody of popular electronic music - which is often uninspired and repetitive.Never heard of it. meowski666 forever bro

Music Parodies
I've written a Deku Scrub parody of Havana. It's called Termina. It's based on a deku who is leaving the deku palsce/shrine called Branches. Sequoia comes into the song, too.
Here are the lyrics:
Here are the lyrics:
Hey
Termina, ooh na-na (ay)
Half of my heart is in Termina, ooh-na-na (ay, ay)
Oh I remember the Deku Pa-la-la-la-lace,
All of my heart is in that palace (ay)
There's somethin' 'bout his manners (uh-huh)
Termina, ooh na-na (uh)
He didn't walk up with that "how you doin'?" (uh)
(When he came in the room) He focused on his job, that was guardin' (uh)
(The palace, that quiet deku)
I felt like I was there for no reason (hey)
(My job was hard, I knew)
And Treetop said don't overestimate (uh)
They got me feelin' like
Ooh-ooh-ooh, I knew it when I moved there
I knew it when I left there
Got me feelin' like
Ooh-ooh-ooh, and then I had to tell them
I had to go, oh na-na-na-na-na
Termina, ooh na-na (ay ay)
Half of my heart is in Termina, ooh-na-na (ay, ay)
Oh I remember the Deku Pa-la-la-la-lace,
All of my heart is in that palace (ay)
My heart is in that palace (ay)
Termina, ooh na-na
Sequoia
Just graduated, from Deku Campus, uh,
Fresh out Deku Palace with no manners, ugh,
Fresh out Deku Palace
No time to talk when I'm focused, yeah
Hey, I was quick to tell that girl like Willow Oak (here you go, ay)
Back it on me, no talkin' to me
Get back to guardin' trust me (on me)
No time for talking with me (no use!)
Wide awake with them and me, we're guardin' for safety (wait up)
This is history in the makin' you, us and me (and me)
Gotta focus on guardin' not on me,
If that deku wants silence, it's me (it's me)
Now i'm gettin' so bored, all from me.
Termina, ooh na-na (ay, ay)
Half of my heart is in Termina, ooh-na-na (oh, ay, ay)
Oh I remember the deku pa-la-la-la-lace (oh no)
All of my heart is in that palace (ay)
My heart is in that palace (ay)
Termina, ooh na-na
Ooh na-na, oh na-na-na (oo-ooh)
Take me back, back, back like
Ooh na-na, oh na-na-na (yeah, okay)
Take me back, back, back like
Ooh na-na, oh na-na-na (yea, yeah)
Take me back, back, back like
Ooh na-na, oh na-na-na (yea, okay)
Take me back, back, back
(Hey, hey)
Ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh-ooh
Take me back to my Termina
Termina, ooh na-na
Half of my heart is in Termina, ooh-na-na (oh, yeah)
Oh I remember the Deku Pa-la-la-l-lace (ay ay)
All of my heart is in that palace
My heart is in that palace (ay)
Termina, ooh na-na
Uh huh
Oh na-na-na (oh na, yeah)
Oh na-na-na
Oh na-na-na
No, no, no, take me back
Oh na-na-na
Termina, ooh na-na

Music Parodies
I don't really listen to parodies that often anymore (I even listen to Weird Al's original songs styled on other artists more often than his direct parodies), but I'm not averse to them. I did actually attempt to write two parodies once:
One was based on Hyperactive! by Thomas Dolby and it was about a former reality TV star who tries to break through the barriers to become involved in serious productions.
Another one was a parody of Barrel Of A Gun by Depeche Mode. It was called “Barrel Full Of Gum” and it's about a person who wins a lifetime supply of chewing gum and just how hard it really is to sustain yourself on it.
They weren't supposed to be good and I wasn't even planning to record them, just wanted to flex my creative muscle a little.

I've wrote part of a parody and whole parody. They are both on the forums. A Sonic themed Dynamite one and a Pokémon themed Cheers theme one (this one was on the Old Pokémon topic) respectively.
