Today's updates!

Project Editor: - We're still working on re-implementing the image effects using a different hardware acceleration library, but making good progress! We hope to have a version available for testing by next week.

This is the first release after a major reworking of the messages system! The only changes you'll be able to notice right away are that the messages page now shows a brief snippet of each comment, and the number of new messages should be more accurate. However, the extensive changes to the back end will make it easier to experiment with new and better designs for the messaging system. Please report any bugs with messages in the Bugs and Glitches forum.

Discussion Forums:
It's now possible to follow Discussion Forum threads by clicking:

You'll get a notification on your messages page when there are new posts on the thread. If you make a new topic, you will automatically follow it.

Awesome! I love the follow discussion button, it means if I post in a random thread somewhere (as a mod or as a user) I don't have to remember where it is or keep a tab open for it!

The “Follow Discussion” thing is nice. (I think I may have to unfollow some of the more active threads, though.

)

Bug: The “Follow” button still appears when you're logged out.

See my recent post for an extra suggestion about the image effects issue.
(And not only for image effects, but also resizing, changing direction, and switching costume.)
