Igpay Atinlay! (Pig Latin) ~Moved from Other Languages~
Ellohay! M'iay elloyowuzzuphay. Irstfay, Iay illway xplaineay Igpay Atinlay inyay Nglisheay.
Translation: Hello! I'm Helloyowuzzup. First, I will explain Pig Latin in English.
Pig Latin is a really cool ‘language’. I'm using English, but in reality, you could use any language as your base. Let's start our translation with a complex word, which, believe it or not, makes it all the easier. I'll use the word: Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
To begin translating, find the first letter of supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. This would be the letter ‘s’.
Next, move the first letter, s, of supercalifragilisticexpialidocious to the end of the word. You now have upercalifragilisticexpialidociouss.
Finally, add the letters ‘ay’ to the end of your word. You now have upercalifragilisticexpialidocioussay.
This is a very strange looking word, but is really very similar to English!
Now, let's translate Pig Latin into English. We'll use the same word, upercalifragilisticexpialidocioussay.
First, remove the ‘ay’. You now have upercalifragilisticexpialidociouss.
Next, move the last letter to the beginning. You should have supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
See how easy that was?
Also remember this rule:
Try to translate these words and phrases from English to Pig Latin!
1: Hello
2: How are you
3: answering
4: probablility
5: onomatopoeia
6: transcription
7: simulation
8: completion
9: denominator
10: it
Comment what you got!

Also remember this rule:
Also: if a word starts with a vowel (or vowel sound), you do not transfer the first letter, but you add “yay” to the end.
A=Ayay
I=Iyay
In=inyay
English=Englishyay
You move the first complete sound to the end, not the first letter (though most often it it just the first letter). If it is a vowel sound, you do not move it to the end, but you amend “yay” (or “way” I suppose) at the end.
So though would have the “th” and be oughthay

“tiay” is not correct. Igpay Atinlay tiay Nglisheay.
First of all, “t” appears nowhere in the word “in”
but also, if a word starts with a vowel (or vowel sound), you do not transfer the first letter, but you add “yay” to the end.
A=Ayay
I=Iyay
In=inyay
English=Englishyay

I originally learned just the first letter, but first group of consonants also makes sense.You move the first complete sound to the end, not the first letter (though most often it it just the first letter). If it is a vowel sound, you do not move it to the end, but you amend “yay” (or “way” I suppose) at the end.Iway houghttay tiway asway “ayway”.“tiay” is not correct. Igpay Atinlay tiay Nglisheay.

I learned it the way scimonster did from my grandfather… So I will keep it that way in the topic. But I'm sure that honesty is correct, also.
