Warning- this will be a relatively sentimental topic. Probably. Idk- I haven't written it yet
I think everyone has some form of the arts that truly is their, as I like to put it, ‘something that lights up the darkest hours and makes the light ones even brighter’. For me, this is music.
For awhile, I was TOTALLY into drama. I loved it, and wasn't bad at it. I still do some theater summer camps from time to time. Then, I started getting into photography. I like seeing things and picturing what angle to get them from to be really artistic. After that, and this still goes on, I got into writing. I love spilling my emotions into words.
Now, as you can probably tell, my light is music. Especially singing- it just lights my heart open with joy. I also play tuba and piano. Some of my favorite songs include We Believe In Music, Child of Song, and Everlasting Melody. I DO NOT LIKE POP/ROCK/RAP ETC! Please don't get super offended- they just aren't my thing. To me they talk about pointless things.

I do like a lot of gospel and classical music, but there's also a lot of sentimental, meaningful pop/rock and even rap music out there. You just don't find it on the radio. In fact, there are some pop/rock bands and artists that are full of emotion and heartfelt imagery, and some rap artists who talk about meaningful, thought-provoking topics.

That said, I do really like a lot of gospel/classical music.

I'm sure that's true- I just guess I should keep an open mind In general, I don't really listen to the radio other than news anyway.

Sometimes I write songs. Mainly ballads. My tastes are less pop and more alternative and EDM.
