2008-2011's my favourite personally since I discovered Eddsworld at around that point. I really like the Legacy eddisodes a lot though.
I honestly expected more Tord dialogue from the earlier episodes, but he doesn't seem to speak much. That is a shame, but I love his expanded role in The End (though I have a feeling that's not a proper Norwegian accent).
Anyway, Tom, Eddie and Paul have left the show now and it's all in the hands of the Gould family as to where to take it. But I honestly believe they should no pressure as to their decision. Behind all their impatience and pickiness at points, Eddsworld fans are a really caring group and I'm sure they'd be content with what they do with it.
(In the Hammer & Fail Part 1 montage, did anybody notice Tom was doing a Brodyquest?)

Speaking of Hammer and Fail, one of my favorite scenes was this:

@NumberDerp, Matt hasn't said anything about leaving the show just yet so I think he's sticking around to help. That's really great of him, but no worries if he eventually wants to move on. EDIT: He also said on Twitter that he wasn't done with Eddsworld, so that supports that answer really well.
On a side note, I wonder who the new voice actor for Tom is going to be?

Who has seen it? The British animation made by 4 guys named Tom Ridgewell, Tord Larsson, Matt Hargreaves, And most of all, Edd Gould. It started off I guess as nothing special then it became much better. It stopped because Edward Duncan Ernest “Edd” Gould died of cancer. They may keep making ‘edd’-isodes because of a comment on The End part 2.

You know Tom! The guy with black eyes… or is it just a hole? He wears the blue hoodie, is obsessed with Smirnoff, and HATES Christmas and Tord Larrson! His personal hell: “Im a black guy” “NOOOOOOOOOOOO….! Wait… im not racist!” “From outer space!” “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO”

Also Tord…RED HOODIE! Tord hates Tom as well. Idk why. I guess write it in the comments if you know. Heis obsessed with guns and his LEAST favorite song is…“SUNSHINE LOLLIPOPS AND RAINBOWS” by Leslie Gore. Why does he hate it? Probably because it is much to cheery. His hell is that song. LOL!

Matt…he's the one with the purple hoodie and green overcoat. He has a formidable chin and LOVES himself! He thinks he's ALL that! And a little bit more. Well, more like a LOT bit more! His hell? A WHOLE lot of clones of edd saying, “HEY MATT!” Wooooooooow.

Best for last… EDD! Green hoodie… usually the leader. Probably the first of them all to poke fun…He's the artist… he LOVES cola and hes always trying to make a pun! Probably due to his linguistic EDDucation! hahahahaha so punny! Well, his hell is a broken cola machine… OBVIOUSLY! What else? Him and Matt are probably the ones that have less of a brain… Them two along with tom used to live together. So did tord but he moved out. I say they USED because tord blew their house up with his giant robot. * tord.

I could go more in-depth, but just for a brief overview: Eddsworld is a webseries that started in 2004 and it stars three characters named Edd, Matt and Tom based on real people. There was formerly a fourth character named Tord who left the series in 2007. They all go on various misadventures together. The main creator, Edd Gould, unfortunately passed away from leukemia in 2012. This is why the later episodes running under Eddsworld: Legacy have a different animator and VA for Edd. I've been a fan of it for about five years now and it's pretty good!

The YouTube channel is here. You can start at any point you wish, but I personally wouldn't recommend starting with The End. That's definitely more of a closing episode based on fan-service. Instead, try episodes around the 2007-2012 (post-Tord) era. These are some of the best of Edd's material IMO. If you enjoyed these, feel free to dabble about in the 2004-2006 episodes. Space Face Part 2 transitions into the 2013-2016 period (Tom as showrunner) and every episode after that point is in the Legacy series. These have a different feel all around, but are still very good!
