If you don't know what Spore is, it's an amazing game where you create a species and help it evolve through many stages, starting as a single cell, which later evolves into a simple creature, then gathers enough intelligence to become a tribe, then a civilization, eventually taking over the planet and exploring space.

Discuss things you like to do in the game, creatures you've created, what you like about the game, etc.

Ever played Spore Creatures? Graphics aren't that great, but I remember it was addictive (I think I renamed my creaure Knockout. XD Used to be Kowalski or something).

I used a black background to make it look like the deep sea.

It wasn't the full version so I could only really make creatures and have them move around a small area..

Hi all! What's your favorite stage?

my favorite is the creature stage. when it gets to the civilization stage it gets boring cause its like to modern or something.

I got the trial of spore on Wednesday I messed around with it a little I made some characters from tv show's (terriermon guilmon and jake from adventure time)

I play the game. I am playing as a Koomakoo species.

In one war, I fought the Mammons who were basically Klingons. My species was peaceful and herbivore, yet I won a war against warmongering carnivores.

Then the game crashed and I made a new species that are also peaceful herbivores.

My game crashes a lot.

For some reason in the creature stage I enjoy slaughtering other species (if they attack first).

And it's really hard to be social in the creature stage on hard difficulty. And in the space stage on hard difficulty, your ship starts with only 300 health! That's insane considering that there are also increased raids and more demand from other empires!

Put on both the carnivore and herbivore mouths in cell stage, or kill something with a straw-like mouth, and attach that.
(Be warned, the latter strategy is cheaper, but it can't eat most meat, just kill creatures and take energy that way)

Oh man, this has NOT been talked about for a while, so I will revive this topic! (Sorry if this counts as necroposting, by the way…) I recently got the base Spore game in June, and the two expansions on my birthday, the Creepy & Cute Parts Pack and Galactic Adventures. I've got two creatures up to Tribal so far, a peaceful herbivore and an adaptable carnivore.

If I wanna be absolutely serious, though, who else thinks Tribal Stage is the WORST?! There's too much micromanagement, I don't like it. It's just, blegh. (And yes, I know I haven't played up to Civilization stage just yet, but I just wanna voice my opinion.)
