There should be

([last v] () letters of [world])
,
(letters () to () of [world])
and
([first v] () letters of [world])

blocks. This would help with simpler variable-based chat and ban commands.

And, there should be a “demote” button on Managers' boxes, like the “promote” buttons on Curators' boxes.

It would look like the Promote button, except for the text “Demote” on it instead.

I think a more general “letters M to N of STRING” (as mentioned numerous times before) would be the way to go (placed just below the “letter N of STRING” operator). That would pretty easily incorporate your “first/last” suggestions, and much more.

(See the “string manipulation” project in my sig for a custom block that does it - plus some extra tricks…)

YES! That would be better. But this can be useful!

Support, support. You would only really need the
(letters () to () of [world]) // category=operators
though.

The evil if block is hungry! >:-D
