I think if it is a question, it should be 2 weeks, but if it is something like a RAP topic, never.

Actually, it depends on the time. You normally just have to use common sense on them. What's a necropost? It is a reply that is posted on a thread 3+ months old.
HwS: One week
SaT: N/A if it's your own topic you're bumping, or two weeks for someone else's
Ideas: Same as above
Collab: 3 weeks
Requests: 3 weeks
Questions: 2-3 weeks
Suggestions: n/a if it's been suggested and you're bumping something you like; otherwise, there's no real need for ones older than a week
Bugs/Glitches: see above, but replace “suggested” with “reported” (as in a bug being reported) and “you like” with “that plagues you”
Advanced Topics: 4 weeks, it's less active than other forums
Physical World: a month or two for the same reason
RaP/MaC: Probably a month, but N/A if you're bumping something rather than starting your own topic that would be a duplicate
Those are my thoughts. Each section has a different purpose and level of activity.
