Unitarian Universalism is a religion in which many different beliefs are practiced. Some people believe in god, some don't. I consider myself jewish, as do many others, and one women actually considers herself a “witch” meaning she practices wicca spells, which are pretty much like prayers. In sunday school classes we learn about all religions (christianity, judaism, buddhism, islam, etc) and the UU values, which center around equality and kindness. Some people call the UU building a church, I call it a society, some people call it a temple. UUism is also very accepting of the LGBT community, as we believe all people are equal and good no matter who they love. After learning about all religions during childhood, you “come of age” by making a speech about what you believe to the community. No matter what you say, you are still part of the community (well maybe not cannibalism but anything else). As adults, you come together to listen to music, talk, organize for charity causes, participate in meditation etc. UUism is about having a community of people who love and support you, not matter what you believe.
Above is the “elevator speech” I prepared in one UU sunday school class to explain UUism

UUism seems like a, how should I put it, “respectful” religion based on love and friendship then. Right? That sounds like a very peaceful way to live.I've always considered myself atheist. What is UUism.UUism or atheism? Both are real religions Guys, stay on topic, don't start a war, remember

Are religious projects allowed?
How about THIS: no offensive religious projects! If there isn't anything wrong with it, well, there isn't anything wrong with it. We need to respect diversity, yes, but at the same time we can't allow “Catholics are stupid!” or “Muslims are pigs!”
DISCLAIMER: I am providing examples. I'm not trying to be offesive. I'm sorry if you're offended by this post. I am only showing what would happen if we said, “It's a religious project, so it's fine by definition.”

Thanks for the ride, Scratch Team and community! Unfortunately, the time has come for me to move on from Scratch, so I'll no longer be using the forums. Thanks again, and farewell!

This is pretty much how we think about the issue.
It's fine to make a project sharing about your faith, as long as it meets the Scratch community guidelines. It's disrespectful to try to change other's beliefs about their faith, or say that your belief about faith is the only acceptable one. Scratch is not the place to proselytize.
It's also not ok for people to make comments about anyone else's faith that are disrespectful, or otherwise break the community guidelines (if you see any of these, please flag them!)
These guidelines have served us pretty well over the years.
