I don't think they will stop them becuse of that… If you stop using Scratch, that's your loss, not Scratch's!

I dislike AE studios, mainly because it a) makes your projects look bad because they're mixed in with other blank projects, etc. and b) if someone adds your project to an AE studio, then YOU CAN'T DELETE YOUR PROJECT OFF OF IT. But, on the other hand, some AE studios actually have purposes(example, “Add your project if you need help with it”) I just hope that this doesn't turn into a flame war between AE and Anti-AE, because the ST already has a lot to work on. Let's keep Scratch friendly.

Really, Scratch isn't a profit organization, so if you stop using it, they lose nothing.

AE:

• Try and get it the most projects! +1
  
• Try and get each project most popular! -1
  
• Try and give unpopular projects the head-start! +1
  
• Projects may look bad from another's prescriptive because they are put into the same studio as a whole lot of blank projects! -1
  
• If the ST does it, you could be able to remove your own project from any studio. +0.5
  

No-AE:

• No friendly competition! -1
  
• No source of love for poor unpopular projects! -1
  
• No over-population of popular projects! +1
  
• You can't see your project looking bad with a whole lot of blank ones in the same studio! +1
  

AE is obviously the winner. If you don't want any unpopular but great project to exist, then suit yourselves! But the ST will keep AE studios. Nevermind you quitting, nevermind popular projects getting too many views, and nevermind ST's weakness over such huge studios! Scratch intends to and will keep them, whatever flame war you throw at them! Plus, it's only your loss if you stop using Scratch, as it is not for profit!

The match was closer than I thought. It was just an offset of half a pt for AE to have the higher number.

Anti-AE hardly has no love for poor unpopular projects, who's going to look at the projects in an AE studio when there's so many of them? The chances of them picking one at all, let alone an unpopular one, is pretty low.
