Proposals for Sessions
We encourage proposals on a wide variety of topics, from technologies to pedagogies, from applications to implications.
Do you have Scratch experiences or stories that you would like to share? Ideas for new learning activities with Scratch? Propose a session on your own, or team up with others.
You can choose from three different types of sessions:
- Presentation
You'll have the opportunity to share your experiences, ideas, and plans for 10 minutes, followed by Q&A and discussion. - Panel discussion
A group of three or more people presents on a common theme, issue, or question, with the goal of sparking discussion with the audience. The presentations should last at most 30 minutes total, followed by at least 30 minutes of discussion. - Workshop
Engage a group of participants in a 60-minute activity. For example, participants might work together on developing a new Scratch video tutorial, or explore new ways of using Scratch Boards in science activities. The activities can be hands-on or collaborative, and we also encourage experimental and novel session formats.
Submit your proposal for a session at Scratch@MIT by February 15, 2008.
You will receive email notification of whether your proposal was accepted by March 15, 2008.
