Copy paste not working?

For some reason, whenever I try to copy and paste something in the costume editor, It pastes something else! Please help!

Are you using the Copy and Paste buttons in the top, or the keyboard controls for copying and pasting? Sometimes when I use the keyboard, it doesn't work.
