CONQUER - A space exploration/resource collecting/ empire building game - ⓃⓄⓌ ⒽⒾⓇⒾⓃⒼ

Hi All!
Introduction
I was hesitant to do this at first, because I've always preferred working alone, but this projects gonna take quite an amount of work, and I decided I'm going to need a team.

Section 1: Game Description
The game will be almost whatever the player wants it to be. You can simply explore, to find the multitude of possible in game structures such as planets or asteroids. You can be a resource collector for your home planet and become the strongest civilization in the universe. You can build your own empire by buying a base and adding resources and such to it. You can be a fighter and roam the universe picking fights. You can do nearly anything you wish
Section 1, Part 2: In Depth
Al in all, the game will be a scrolling space sim on 2 axes (plural of axis just an fyi ;p) where you will be able to do the above mentioned things, as well as upgrade your ship, or empire/planets storage capacity etc.

Section 2: Needed Jobs
Obviously, I made this post because I need help, due to the massive scale of this project. There are multiple jobs that need to be done, and are as follows:
Artists (Sprites, Backgrounds, HUD's etc.): 2/3
Coders (Codes all parts of the game, I myself will be doing this job, and maybe some artist :p): 4/7
Sound Techie (Will make/find all music/sound effects for the game): 2/3
Forum Managers (Will help advertise the finished product, and help maintain this forum, re-posting as needed): 1/2

Section 4: Why Join?
Why join? what a very valid question to ask. Well, there are many reasons to join. You finally have something to work on after sitting in that idea pit you've been stuck in. You have a team of developers to help you along. You get popularity. That's an important one. Hopefully after it's done, this project will get popular, maybe even curated. All involved persons will have their names included in the credits, instructions, and splash screen at the start of the game.

Time on scratch: 10 months, according to my profile info.
Job wanted: Programmer, please.
Job experience: Pheew… am pretty good in java and C++, have discovered scratch about a year ago, I cant really say I'm the grand master yet (haven't tried hacking scripts, for example), but consider myself a somewhat advanced user.
Example work: Basic Raycast, 3D wireframe engine, Particle system
^ only ones I felt like releasing yet, to be honest, but more to come soon
Time online (1-10): …3? (in whatever units you intended)
Extra notes: Please tell me exactly what to do, as I am prone of thinking about things by myself.
Also, will this be a simulation? If yes, I could help with a thing or two for the orbital mechanics; if not, please don't listen to me babbling about how easy it is to steer everything.

Time on scratch: ONLINE: Not much… OFFLINE: I lost track xD, maybe about a few weeks after the offline editor came out
Job wanted: Artist/Sound Techies
Job experience: Lots of it (Multi-Layer Parallax Scrolling in both X and Y axes + tons of scratch-ready photoshop templates) (Sound Side: Can do changing area/condition music & sfx from just about anywhere)
Example work: This studio has most of my work & demos (and some of my attempts with regular programming)

Extra notes: This sounds similar to one of my FAVE games. (spore!) Really not much experience in programming the actual game logic but will do magic with graphics & graphical effects.I just make bad art mock-ups for technical art demos, so they won't look amazing, but they demonstrate art tech

Also by any means would you like a useful JSON system? I found one while working on another collab. Perhaps for inventory management? (I don't know anything about it except that it is useful and that it stores info as JSON, whatever JSON is) Also, I can do vector art. If you want to do 3D bitmap & sprite raycasting is the easiest, but vector + array raycasting is the best for FPS and quality, but that's so hard I don't think even the scratch team could do it… (prove me wrong :3) Also, I can make odd hacked blocks… For example this dynamic variable creation block, you don't even need to define the variable first, woohoo!

Ok, I know I applied for a totally different and irrelevant position, but I made an XML item system… Would you like a copy customized for this game?
If so, tell me the general attribute every item should have (i.e. name, display, event on use, etc.) Just trying to be helpful :3

Okay so like. What. I was thinking 2D, 2 Axes. So like, no raycasting required guys!
Also, what is a JSON system? (Sorry if I sound newbish)
Finally, cool about the vector art, and the hacked blocks may become useful.
